PlasmaStream

Artists

Emotes, sub badges, panels, overlays. The people who make them are scattered across a dozen platforms, and finding one you can trust is mostly luck. This is an attempt to fix that for streamers here.

Where this is up to

Applications are open. The directory is not: there are no artist pages to browse yet. We’re accepting the first artists now so that there is something worth looking at when it opens, which is the honest order to do it in.

If you stream

You’ll be able to browse artists, see real examples of their work and what they charge, and contact them directly. No bidding, no reposted portfolios, no wondering whether the person behind the account exists.

Nothing to set up and nothing to pay. It arrives on the site when there are enough artists to make it useful.

If you make art

A page of your own with your work, your prices and how to reach you, in front of streamers who are already looking. Viewers will be able to tip you.

Free to be listed. You keep your own clients, your own terms and your own rates.

How getting listed works

You apply

Your name, a short description of what you make, links to work anybody can go and look at, and a way to reach you. It takes a couple of minutes and you need a Twitch account, though not a channel of your own.

A person reads it

Every application, by hand. That is slower than approving everyone automatically and it is the entire point: a directory anybody can add themselves to becomes a directory of people reposting someone else’s portfolio, and the person who gets hurt is a streamer paying a stranger up front.

What gets accepted is work that is plainly yours, enough of it to show a range, and an account with some history behind it. What does not is reposted or AI-generated work presented as your own, and anything we can’t verify at all.

You get listed

When pages open. If you’re turned down you’ll be told why, and you can fix it and apply again.

Money

Commissions are arranged and paid directly between the streamer and the artist. We aren’t in the middle of it, we don’t take a cut of it, and we don’t hold anyone’s money. Tips through the site are the one thing that will go through us, and paying for commissions here may follow later if people want it.

Because we aren’t part of the transaction, we can’t referee one that goes wrong. Being listed here means a person checked that the work is real, not that anyone is guaranteeing the job.

Apply

Applications are read in the order they arrive, and there is no deadline.
